Last week Kurt and I went to the opening of the Picasso and Chicago exhibition at the Art Institute of Chicago Museum. The exhibition is to honor and celebrate 100 years of friendship between the city of Chicago and the artist Picasso. In the exhibition there are over 250 pieces of art from paintings, sculptures, prints and drawings that showcase the talent of Picasso. My favorite painting The Old Guitarist was front and center of the exhibition, totes amazing.
The only part that I disliked about the exhibition was that there were absolutely no photographs allowed! Grrr. After Picasso we made our way to the rest of the museum and enjoyed a lovely day filled with fabulous art. I can walk around that place for days and not get bored, tired yes! Bored no!
After the museum we walked over to Millennium Park and we took a tourist photo at cloud gate.
