The sound track for this week has been the album “Demi” by Demi Lovato. I must say that I wasn’t really a Demi fan until I heard this new album and it immediately became an obsession.
I first heard the song “Heart Attack” a few months back when it premiered but didn’t get the album until the other night when I was at Target. At first glance I thought that the song titles were different but after the first play of each song I was in love. I have been recommending the album to friends because everyone needs new music in their playlists. Below are my favorite songs from the album.
Oh, Demi is currently in my workout playlist.
“Heart Attack” is the song that mostly everyone has heard on the radio in the past few months. It is also the first single from the album “Demi”
This song is pretty catchy and makes me want to dance every time I listen to it.
“Be still my heart ’cause it’s freaking out, it’s freaking out, right now
Shining like stars ”cause we’re beautiful, we’re beautiful, right now”
This is the saddest song in the album. I’m sitting here in bed listening to this song on repeat because the lyrics are perfect. Tears are even coming out because it reminds me of a special someone who is no longer with me. One day eventually. Yeah, I know. One day I’ll have to let it all go.
“Really Don’t Care”
This song is the one to listen to after you wipe those tears away. Ha! Honestly, this song is great because it tells a very common story. Even if the stars and moon collide I never want you back into my life.
“Never Been Hurt”
Listening to this song gives me the strength to let myself fall in love again. Someone will bring me back to life because I do have so much left to give and I won’t give up. Moral of the song is to risk it all like you have never been hurt. Ha!
“Shouldn’t Come Back”
This is the first song from the album that I fell in love with. The title is everything and the lyrics are exactly how I’m feeling. Maybe you shouldn’t come back to me.
Another slow and sad song on the album but one of my favorites. This song doesn’t need a description.
